It really is the “best time of the year” for one player as their Lucky for Life ticket matched five numbers, but not the Lucky Ball, to win a stunning $25,000 a Year for Life! The ticket was sold in North Central Kansas on December 14, 2020. The winning numbers in Monday’s drawing were 7 – 25 – 34 – 37 – 43 Lucky Ball 9.
The counties in North Central Kansas include Smith, Jewell, Republic, Washington, Osborne, Mitchell, Cloud, Clay, Russell, Lincoln, Ottawa, Ellsworth, Saline, and Dickinson counties.
The ticket holder has 365 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. Once the ticket is claimed, the winner then has 60 days from the claim date to decide if they want to take the $25,000 a Year for Life annuity payment option or the cash option of $390,000.
This is the fifth time a $25,000 a Year for Life prize has been won in Kansas since the Kansas Lottery joined the Lucky for Life game in November 2016. The last time the prize was won was in April 2019.
Lucky for Life drawings take place every Monday and Thursday, and tickets start at just $2! Players have until 7:59 p.m. on draw days to purchase tickets. The top prize is $1,000 a Day for Life!
Players are invited to submit all their winning and non-winning tickets in the Kansas Lottery PlayOn® Players Loyalty program to earn points for drawing entries and a chance to win cash and other prizes! PlayOn® is a registered trademark of Pollard Banknote Limited used under license.
