There is a new millionaire in Kansas after one Kansas Lottery ticket matched all of the numbers in Wednesday’s Super Kansas Cash drawing, winning a jackpot prize worth $6,691,944.00!
The winning numbers in the April 17 Super Kansas Cash drawing were 6-12-21-23-32 with a Super Cash Ball of 22.
The winning jackpot ticket was sold in northeast Kansas, which includes the following counties: Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage, Douglas, Franklin, Miami, Morris and the northern half of Lyon.
This is the largest jackpot win in Super Kansas Cash history, and it’s the first jackpot win since January 10, 2018.
“It’s been more than a year since we’ve had a jackpot winner for Super Kansas Cash, so we are excited to have the jackpot finally hit,” said Stephen Durrell, the Acting Executive Director of the Kansas Lottery. “We want to remind the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they are ready to claim it.”
The winner of the Super Kansas Cash jackpot has 365 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
Super Kansas Cash is a Kansas-only game and jackpots are paid in one lump sum. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. The Super Kansas Cash jackpot returns to $100,000 for Saturday’s drawing.
