On a sunny and warm Friday morning, an eager Jimmy Gray arrived at the Laird Noller Ford dealership in Topeka, ready to pick up the 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCab he won through the Kansas Lottery’s Triple Motor Mayhem ticket.
“I just went into the retailer and said 'I want to buy a ticket. I’ll take that one' and I pointed to the Triple Motor Mayhem ticket,” Gray explained. “I scratched it and it was a winner! I couldn’t believe it!”
Gray bought his $10 Triple Motor Mayhem ticket in July. The first thing Gray says he is going to do with his new truck is to take a road trip to Texas to visit family.
“My brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, everybody is dying to look at it,” Gray said sitting in the driver’s seat.
The winning ticket was sold at the Plaza BP Amoco located at 1401 Huntoon St. in Topeka.
There is still one top prize left in the $10 Triple Motor Mayhem instant scratch game, as well as thousands in other prizes.
