Kansas Lottery players are winding down the summer with some sizzling wins, with $14.5 million in prizes won or claimed! Of that, $12.1 million was claimed on instant scratch games, $1.5 million was won on draw games, and $897,965 was won on monitor games!

Kansas is one of seven states where winners can claim their prizes anonymously. The Kansas Lottery saw 18 players claim instant prizes of $10,000 or greater, and two of those winners publicly shared their stories with the Kansas Lottery. Their stories can be found here. Some highlights from instant winners include:

• One $100,000 prize on the $10 $100,000 Crossword game;
• Two $75,000 prizes, one each on the $10 Hit It Big and $10 Power 10X games;
• Five $25,000 prizes—two on the $5 Cash Crop game and one each on the $5 Cash Cow, $5 Casino Cash, and $5 Rivalry Riches tickets;
• Four $20,000 prizes, all on the $2 Double Bonus Crossword game; and
• One $15,000 prize on the $3 Plinko game.

Below is how much was won throughout August for draw and monitor games:

• Powerball: $409,771, including three $50,000 prizes, one each in the Southwest, South Central, and Northeast regions;
• Mega Millions: $174,876, including one $20,000 win and one $10,000 win;
• Lotto America: $108,430, including four $1,000 prizes;
• Super Kansas Cash: $135,757, including four $2,000 prizes;
• Lucky for Life: $252,793, including three $5,000 wins;
• Pick 3: $360,900, including 397 winners who each won $500;
• 2by2: $98,492, including one top prize of $22,000;
• Keno: $528,976; and
• Racetrax: $368,988.90, including a $15,367 win.

The Kansas Lottery encourages players to double-check their tickets since many large prizes remain unclaimed, including a $1 million Mega Millions prize sold in South Central Kansas on June 1; three $50,000 Powerball prizes, including one sold in South Central Kansas on February 13; two $20,000 Lotto America prizes sold in Northwest Kansas (one on June 26 and the other on April 21); and several Holiday Millionaire Raffle prizes of $1,000! Players have 365 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prize. For instant games, players have 180 days from the date a game ends to claim.
